Inspiration
Sometimes we get a little too comfortable in our own skin. Occasionally, having an unbiased opinion can do us some good.
What it does
Upload a photo, and our state-of-the-art AI will analyze and give key insights about you as a person.
How we built it
Small prompt with specifics into ChatGPT, who in turn wrote a prompt for Bolt.new. From there, minor tweaks to include keys, fix missing packages, make minor style changes, etc
Then we hit deploy, and released this abomination into the world.
Challenges we ran into
Bolt occasionally forgets to install the packages it's going to use. Other than that, the biggest challenge was deciding which voices to start with. I'm particularly fond of Cousin Dan, who's modeled after my very own cousin Dan.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proud is a strong word for this one, so maybe I'll just say that I finally got my dad to talk to me when I showed him this. It wasn't... Positive, but it was, so that's cool.
What we learned
The speed that audio can be generated, and the relatively low cost has some pretty wild implications for the future.
What's next for Roast me, AI
A locally running LLM to generate roasts, and a tie in to Amazon Rekognition to pull physical traits that we can have our AI pick on.
We're also working on the video implementation via creative bastardization of Tavus.
