Inspiration

In this rapidly evolving world, travelers need to plan in advance and also they need a safe mode of travel to their destination considering the budget in their hand for the trip with a packing list to be considered based on the weather conditions of the destination place.

What it does

RoamRover helps the traveler to know about the destination place of the trip well in advance. In today's fast-moving world, GenAI aids the traveler in terms of travel mode recommendation considering security and budgeting aspects. Some travelers might be going to the destination place for the first time. They need to know about the must-visit places and their history. Also, recommendations on how to get into this place using local vehicles. Most importantly it guides the traveler on weather conditions of a particular date of travel and packing lists to be considered. Also, it has a cool chatbot called Travel Buddy, which helps you to assist in further clarification on your travel plan. This RoamRover helps more than a manual guide of travelers and also assists you in planning your journey well in advance. Happy and Safe Journey 🧑🏼‍✈️

How we built it

Our app utilizes cutting-edge generative solutions based on LLM models like Claude, Stable diffusion etc. Used Amazon party-rock playground to build this app.

Challenges we ran into

While connecting widget, we occasionally hand trouble in getting the required output in correct format. Eventually, we had used correct prompt for connecting the widget. Example for Weather recommendation widget we had used previous user input field like based on the date of travel.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

App able to generate the output that we are intended to do of predicting the weather condition, secure mode of travel, must visit places and packing list to be considered etc.

What we learned

GenAI helps to build the stuff in cool and simple ways by correctly giving the prompt inside the widget with cool emojis and markdown language in a fun and interactive way of learning.

What's next for RoamRover -Your Personalised Travel Assistant

Currently, playground not supported any input files, audio or video. This integration will help the traveler in accessibility point of view for better experience. Lot of customization of the app helps the user in usability perspective.
