Inspiration

Speaking about myself, I love to travel and especially to the new and those places which are close to nature and quite therapeutic. I know there would be many of the people like me who wanted to travel in Summer holidays, but they are unaware about the routes.

If you want to travel and want to plan all the things you need to have during the trip, then Bon Voyage! and here comes ROAM VOYAGE!

What it does

Roam Voyage has features such as:

• Users can input start and end points, and add up to 3 stops along the way.
• Display the route on an offline map.
• Provide a list of campsites with basic details (name, location, amenities, user ratings).
• Allow users to select campsites along their route.
• Offer a template for packing lists with essential items for road trips and camping.

How we built it

The prototype is made using Figma, with the use of plugins such as "Map Makers", "Iconify", and "Unsplash"

If this prototype would be made into mobile application, then using React Native Expo, along with Supabase would be the preferred tech stack for making Roam Voyage

Challenges we ran into

I really don't know if it is right to say it a challenge, but choosing the relevant, and better color palette was tough thing for me. For Roam Voyage, I tried to keep light color, keeping the summer vibes alive. Sunset Orange and Sky Blue are the primary and secondary colors for this project respectively.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

While creating this project, I get to know many different places, and many hidden gems in Europe, and in the United States of America that many people might not be aware of. If this ideation becomes reality, it would open a new perspective of tourism in the new regions.

What we learned

Building this project enhanced my learning and implementation on Figma. Moreover, it elevated my design and aesthetic sense

What's next for Roam Voyage

As stated above, if this prototype would be made into mobile application, then using React Native Expo, along with Supabase would be the preferred tech stack for making Roam Voyage

We can add the collaborations from the travel vloggers, homestays, and hotels for enhancing our business model, and for the exponential growth
