Inspiration
The inspiration for this project came as a result of the struggles college students usually have with the collection of their transcripts in this part of the world after graduation and we wanted to do something about it.
What it does
This platform enables students to be able to download their transcripts in pdf format using their unique student ID.
How we built it
We built this project using React, Node JS, MongoDB, and a few APIs.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into were getting a suitable UI design for the project and coding out some features that are essential for the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to build a substantial part of the whole project even though time didn't permit us to build the whole thing.
What we learned
We learned how to be more collaborative in work and also learned more tricks and features while coding this project.
What's next for Roam
We plan to build Roam to the MVP stage afterward, ensure all the functionalities are properly working, and test them out too then try to get our solution to be used practically in the real world.
