This is a community learning platform that gives us shareable roadmaps to master any topic. We can create roadmaps from scratch. Has a community forum to help each other and an AI Teacher to help us.

Inspiration

As students diving deep into DSA and web development, we constantly found ourselves lost in a sea of scattered tutorials, YouTube videos, and blog posts. While resources like Striver’s DSA Sheet were helpful, they lacked personalized structure and didn’t adapt to different learning styles. We wanted a better way, something that could turn fragmented learning into a guided journey.

That’s when the idea struck: what if the learners could create and follow structured, community-powered roadmaps, enhanced by AI? What if learning could be as intuitive as following a map, with a personal teacher guiding you step-by-step?

What it does

Roadmaster is an AI-powered, community-driven learning platform where users can:

Build and follow structured roadmaps with visual, node-based steps.

Curate resources from YouTube, blogs, and more into meaningful learning paths.

Learn from Astra, our ElevenLabs-powered AI Teacher that delivers personalized voice lectures.

Discuss, upvote, and collaborate with peers through integrated community forums.

Track their progress and fork others' roadmaps to personalize their learning.

It’s Notion meets Duolingo, but for mastering any subject.

How we built it

We used:

React.js+Vite and Tailwind CSS for a fast, clean frontend

Supabase for user auth, real-time database, and storage

ElevenLabs Conversational API to power Astra, our AI voice teacher

OpenAI / Cursor to dynamically generate lecture scripts

Bolt.new to scaffold, iterate, and ship at lightning speed

We integrated a feedback system, a roadmap builder, a voice generation pipeline, and live content delivery all in one platform.

Challenges we ran into

Managing API rate limits with ElevenLabs while ensuring timely responses.

Structuring roadmap nodes in a user-friendly, scalable format.

Creating meaningful AI-generated content that actually helps users learn — not just speak.

Balancing real-time collaboration features with a simple UI.

Integrating multiple services (TTS, LLMs, Supabase) into a seamless user experience.

Building a full-stack AI product takes more than code, it takes empathy for the user.

Tools like Bolt, ElevenLabs, and Supabase can supercharge development, when orchestrated correctly.

Good UX isn’t about adding more, it’s about simplifying the path.
