I worked on the frontend and integrating socket.io. It was my first time using node and socket, which had a fairly steep learning curve, but in the end we had a working project.

I helped plan the database structure and some of the overall workings of the app; I also worked on integrating a Node wrapper package for the Spotify API, so that we weren't using hand-written HTTP requests. We ended up not using the database because of complications with integrating it with Node.js, but we still have a working proof-of-concept, and it was a good way to learn some Node!

Krisztián Köves
I worked on the server side and the client side. I helped implement Express.js routing, Socket.io async programming, and jQuery DOM manipulation. I also added database methods for future integration with Heroku PostgreSQL.
