When I was invited to Meta’s Horizons Create-A-Competition, I knew I didn’t want to just make another digital hangout spot. My vision has always been to use creative spaces to help people understand themselves, find calm, and connect with others in ways that matter. That’s why I’m building the MindSpace Hub — a remixable Horizon world designed around mental wellness, reflection, and creativity.

At its core, the MindSpace Hub is a modular starter world. It begins as a peaceful “Mind Garden,” filled with natural landscapes, soft ambient audio, and interactive reflection pods. Visitors can sit in a pod, where prompts invite them to think, write, or even speak out their thoughts — giving them a moment to slow down and reflect.

But what makes this project powerful is its remixability. Other creators can easily take the base framework and:

Swap the prompts for their own (e.g., study tips, motivational quotes, comedy punchlines).

Re-theme the hub into different environments (urban rooftop, beach, classroom, temple).

Add new activities while keeping the “reflection pod” structure intact.

The Hub isn’t just a personal project — it’s a community tool. Because Horizons is about shared creativity, I wanted to design something that others can use to tell their own stories, whether that’s a therapy circle, a roleplay community, or even a study lounge.

For me, this project is also personal. Through my nonprofit Road to Understanding Self, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when people have a safe place to reflect and connect. Horizons gives me the tools to scale that into a virtual world, opening the door for global impact while also giving creators a simple template they can remix.

The MindSpace Hub is more than a world — it’s a starting point for others to build upon, remix, and make their own. It bridges creativity with purpose, and that’s the story I want to bring to Horizons.
