Inspiration
Inspiration for this project was that one day I was driving through a familiar road. Suddenly I saw a pothole and had to break hard to slow down. Barely avoided damage to the car. So I thought it would have been nice to have real-time road hazard alerting system.
What it does
This project uses drones and satellite imagery to detect and update road conditions on a specific application. It also empowers users to report road conditions via GPS location and photos, through the dedicated mobile application. This will enhance road safety and traffic management through a collaborative approach.
