problem: Students, especially first-years and transfers, often face difficulties navigating large campuses, keeping track of important events, and connecting with campus services or communities. This leads to confusion, missed opportunities, and disengagement. solution: compusFlow is an all-in-one mobile app that integrates campus navigation, event management, academic support, and community engagement to provide students a seamless, stress-free experience. Features:

1. Smart Campus Navigator: • AR (Augmented Reality) Navigation: Guides students around campus using AR overlays to provide step-by-step directions to classrooms, libraries, cafes, and other campus landmarks. • Accessibility Routes: Offers optimized routes for students with disabilities, considering ramps, elevators, and accessible entrances.
2. Academic and Campus Resource Hub: Classroom Finder: Syncs with student schedules, showing real-time directions to the next class. Service Locator: Helps students find key services like academic advising, health centers, and career support offices.
3. Event & Social Integration: • Event Feed: Lists all campus events (workshops, club meetings, and career fairs) in one place, allowing students to RSVP, share, or save events to their calendars. • Interest-Based Community Groups: Allows students to join communities based on interests (e.g., coding club, sports teams, cultural groups) and see upcoming group activities.
4. Academic Support: • Study Space Finder: Suggests available study areas on campus (e.g., libraries, study rooms), complete with crowd-level indicators to show how busy each area is. • Peer Study Groups: Automatically matches students with peers who are enrolled in the same courses, offering collaborative study sessions.
5. Real-Time Alerts: • Class Change Notifications: Sends push notifications about changes in lecture locations, cancellations, or important campus updates. • Event Reminders: Notifies students before events they’ve signed up for, with directions and tips.
6. Sustainability Insights: Eco-Friendly Route Suggestions; Displays environmentally friendly options like biking or walking paths to reduce carbon footprint on campus.

UI & UX: • Streamlined Interface: Clean, intuitive design with a focus on minimal clicks to access information. • Personalized Dashboard: A customizable home screen where students can quickly access their schedule, upcoming events, and study spaces. • AR-Enhanced Experience: Visually appealing and easy-to-follow navigation through augmented reality features, enhancing engagement. • Technical Implementation: • AR and GPS Integration: Combines AR overlays with GPS to provide precise on-campus navigation. • Real-Time Data Feeds: Pulls live updates from the university’s event calendar, class schedules, and campus facilities for accurate information. • Cloud-Based Backend: Ensures that the app is synced with university services, providing real-time updates to class changes, event registrations, and space availability. • Cross-Platform: Available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, with integration to the university’s online portal for syncing events and schedules.
