Inspiration
The inspiration behind this website for RLSweets stems from a love for baking and the desire to share delightful, handcrafted sweets with a broader audience. We wanted to make it easier for people to explore our menu, customize their orders, and learn about the passion behind each dessert we offer.
What it does
RLSweetsMenu is an interactive platform where customers can view our range of delicious baked goods, place pre-orders, and even customize their selections based on flavor preferences. It also highlights our latest creations and seasonal offerings.
How we built it
Using Bubble.io, we crafted a visually appealing and user-friendly interface without needing to code from scratch. The drag-and-drop functionality allowed us to design dynamic pages that present our menu, integrate customer feedback, and process orders seamlessly.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was customizing the layout to suit our brand aesthetic while ensuring smooth functionality across different devices. Additionally, we faced hurdles with integrating real-time order updates and inventory management within Bubble.io's framework.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud to have built a fully functional, professional-looking website without needing extensive programming knowledge. It’s responsive, easy to navigate, and reflects the personality of RLSweets. The integration of custom order features and the feedback system is a highlight.
What we learned
Working on RLSweetsMenu taught us the power of low-code tools like Bubble.io. We learned how to manage databases, design responsive web pages, and optimize user experience while balancing functionality and aesthetics
What's next for RLSweetsMenu
In the future, we plan to integrate more advanced features like delivery tracking, personalized user accounts, and a loyalty program. We also want to expand the website’s reach by offering a blog section where we share baking tips, recipes, and stories from the kitchen.
