I just wasn't sure whether I could submit the main doc but promote this Savage one under the same entry. Therefore I decided to submit as a separate thing.

Inspiration

So I built my rejection letter generator, right? And Coda runs this hackathon to make a big splash for Coda AI, right? And I want to make a big splash, right? So I need to make something viral.

And what is gonna be more viral than an AI bot that roasts you like Wendy's?

Because apparently, people love getting roasted for the vile fun of it.

My hypothesis is that this sarcastic little thing will outperform any other serious "at work" template. Let's see.

What it does

It is a Rejection Letter Generator but the recruiter lost all their diplomacy skills and started straight thrashing all the candidates 😂

How we built it

I took the original Rejection Letter Generator and adjusted the prompts :)

Challenges we ran into

The first thing was to jailbreak Coda AI to actually start writing mean things. Luckily that was easy: I persuaded it that this was for research purposes and nobody would get offended.

The other challenge was to fine-tune the attitude. At some point the bot was just spewing curse words at candidates, calling them idiots, imbeciles and worthless pieces of –. That wasn't the intention, so I got to tweak the prompts to make it less cursey and more devilishly sarcastic.
