Inspiration

Most people do not have great photos of themselves. Bad lighting, bad angles, or no one around to take the picture. Yet your photo is the first impression on dating apps and professional platforms. We wanted to create a tool that gives people photos that still look like them, just placed in better, more flattering, more confidence boosting scenarios.

What it does

Rizzi.fun / Portra.fun takes a single selfie and generates photorealistic versions of you in improved environments. You appear in clean studio backgrounds, lifestyle settings, professional headshot scenes, cozy indoor vibes, outdoor shots, and more. It keeps your face exactly the same. It simply puts you in situations where you look your best.

How we built it

We used Cursor with Opus 4.5 from Anthropic for build, with Polymet.ai used for the initial design. Nano banana 3 pro was used for the image generation at 2K.

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out how to prompt to get it to be realistic and how to present enough options to make people feel creative without making it too broad.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Tens of users love it

What we learned

Images that look too much like AI are seen as toys but small upgrades are welcome and not deceptive.

What's next for Rizzi.fun / Portra.fun

Working to get the word out to others, moving into ecommerce to help companies with product photography and mockups with models.
