Inspired by popular otome games and the viral appeal of voice-based AI, Rizzlr.ai lets you talk your way into a character's heart—literally! Our innovative AI-powered interactions combine humour, strategy, and rizz to create an experience that'll blow your mind.

Combined with brainrot and you get an interactable game where you try outrizzing the characters, up your aura points, and unlock even more to add to your roster. You've gyatt to rizz em up to skibidi your way into Ohio and be dubbed THE RIZZLR!!!. What it does ⭐

Rizzlr.ai combines voice-powered otome with AI-driven rizz analysis for a truly unique, interactive experience. Instead of just reading or waiting for a character's response, you get to speak directly to them in real time. Every conversation is an opportunity to gauge your rizz with the Rizz o'meter, a live feedback system that tracks your success in wooing your target.

Each interaction challenges your confidence and skill. Nail the perfect response, and you’ll rack up more on the Rizz o'meter. Mess up, and you risk losing your edge streak. Your goal? Charm your way to the ultimate victory: capturing Giga Chad's undivided attention. 👑

Win his heart to gain aura points. See how well you did after the gooning session ends through an extensive analysis by the expert rizzler. Warning: Giga Chad may end the call early if you reek of negative aura.

This concept makes your otome rizzing experience more immersive. You will be guaranteed to find love irl after this!!!

How we built it 🚧

We had a spontaneous 1AM teamup on the Wednesday of the hackathon and decided to get building after spending 2 hours looking at otome game PVs and trailers.

We Used:

  • Retell AI API: For real-time conversational AI, voice interactions, and overall rizz analysis.
  • OpenAI: Used for analyzing rizz responses to adjust the Rizz o'meter
  • Frontend: Built with React and Next.js to create an interactive, smooth website.
  • Backend: Powered by Node.js.
  • Web Calls: Integrated through ngrok to for websocket connections.

Challenges we ran into🧍

A lot of technical issues. Our crashout game was immaculate. Our designer had to become a front-end developer for the first time and had a meltdown. Our back-end developer struggled to work around the Retell AI documentation and outdated tutorials. We both learned React for the first time, like fresh outta da womb staring eyes-crossed at the screen with flies in our brain type beat. We had major brainmaxxing migraines. Pls give us pity points for even attempting 🙏🙏😩

Accomplishments that we're proud of 😎

Participating in this. The AI lowkeys sounds like Nanami when his voice gets really deep iykyk. Being able to successfully integrate the web call using Retell AI even though I was super confused about the outdated tutorials documentation. Designing and coding the frontend to match our Figma vision, even while pulling (nearly?) all-nighters.

What we learned ✏️

We would put the voice on our hear me out cake. Getting the real-time analysis takes awhile and needs a delay. Documentation can be confusing but when everything works... Well, you can see my enthusiasm through my git commits. We learned a ton about voice AI, LLMs, sockets, React, and how to not break down while coding.

What's next for Rizzlr.ai 🔮

Make the other characters unlockable and have a working aura points system! Have hard-mode versions of characters with their personality switched so they're lowkey a masochist!! Take immersion to the next level by integrating real phone calls!!! AND MORE BRAINROT!!!!
