I wanted to bring the familiar desktop experience to the browser, creating a unified, intuitive workspace that feels like a traditional OS but runs entirely online.
What it does
RivineOS transforms your browser into a fully functional desktop environment featuring:
- Window Management: Multiple apps running simultaneously with resize, minimize, and maximize controls
- AI App Generator: Create custom dynamic applications using AI and save them to your workspace
- AI Quiz System: Generate intelligent quizzes from topics or files with detailed answer analysis
- Productivity Tools: Collection of daily-use online tools integrated into the OS environment
- User Management: Secure authentication and data management
- Customization: Theme and wallpaper settings for personalized experience
How I built it
- Frontend: Next.js for the main application framework
- AI Integration: Sonar APIs for intelligent content generation
