Inspired by the need for proactive risk management in complex data environments, our AI-powered software aims to transform risk from a burden into a strategic advantage by providing real-time, predictive insights.
What it does
RiskVision streamlines project risk management by combining AI-powered risk generation with real-time collaboration and an interactive risk matrix. It enables teams to identify, score, and prioritize risks, assign mitigation tasks, and export detailed reports—all within a secure, user-friendly web app built on React and Firebase.
How we built it
We built RiskVision using React and TypeScript for a modular, responsive frontend, with Firebase managing authentication, real-time data, and security. The platform integrates dynamically with external AI services—including DeepSeek and others—to generate contextual risk insights and mitigation strategies tailored to project needs. Tailwind CSS ensures a modern, consistent design, while Firestore powers real-time collaboration and data synchronization. Our agile approach emphasized scalability, security, and delivering an intuitive user experience.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges included curating high-quality, sensitive risk data while ensuring privacy, predicting rare high-impact events, integrating with diverse enterprise systems, and translating complex AI outputs into actionable insights for users. Managing computational resources at scale was also a continuous challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of developing an AI-powered risk management solution that provides predictive, real-time insights by analyzing both structured and unstructured data. Successfully integrating complex AI into an intuitive platform with Bolt.new, and implementing robust security measures, are key achievements.
What we learned
We learned the importance of data governance, ethical AI use, and domain expertise in applying AI to complex enterprise challenges. The project reinforced the value of modular architecture, platforms like Bolt.new, and the necessity of user education for successful AI adoption.
What's next for RiskVision
Future plans include expanding predictive capabilities to cover more industry-specific risks, integrating with third-party data providers, and developing advanced scenario planning tools, also implementing advanced task management system. We also aim to enhance the UI with interactive dashboards and explore explainable AI for greater transparency.
