To use risk scoring to help prioritise testing amongst an identified population, as well as prioritise those at risk for continued social distancing

Inspiration

Currently, COVID-19 testing takes a lot of time and manpower. If we can rank those in the population with higher possibilities of positive test results to be tested first, they should be able to receive aid earlier and also reduce the chances of community spread.

What it does

We're looking at

  • Data collection: building a website or app where the general population can self-report data securely
  • Data analysis: using data of existing COVID-19 patients to build a risk scoring model for the general population and predict the likelihood of positive COVID-19 test results
  • Call to action: using the risk scores to target the at-risk population for earlier testing

This is an outline of our approach. Next steps will be to build out the data collection and the risk scoring model.
