Inspiration:

We were inspired by the growing gap between the sophisticated financial tools available to institutional investors and the limited options available to everyday individuals. We believe that everyone should have access to powerful tools and insights to achieve their financial goals, regardless of their wealth or investment experience.

What it does

RiskDefender is an AI-powered financial management platform that democratizes access to sophisticated financial tools and services. It leverages blockchain technology to enhance security, transparency, and efficiency while providing users with:

• Personalized Investment Advice: AI-powered recommendations tailored to individual risk profiles, financial goals, and investment preferences.
• Access to Sophisticated Investments: Fractional ownership of high-value assets, access to alternative investments, and the ability to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.
• Enhanced Security & Transparency: Blockchain-based transaction records, secure data storage, and advanced security measures to protect user assets.
• User-Friendly Interface: An intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes complex financial concepts easy to understand and navigate.

How we built it

Recognizing our limited coding experience, we prioritized a strong foundation in design and research. We utilized Figma to meticulously design the user interface and user experience, conducting thorough user research and incorporating feedback throughout the design process. This approach ensured that the core user experience would be intuitive and engaging, even without a fully functional prototype. We focused our efforts on:

• Comprehensive Market Research: Conducting in-depth market research to identify user needs, competitive landscapes, and potential market opportunities.
• User-Centric Design: Creating detailed user personas and conducting extensive user testing to ensure the platform meets the needs and expectations of our target audience.
• Robust Project Documentation: Creating detailed project documentation, including business plans, technical specifications, and risk assessments, to guide future development efforts.

Challenges we ran into

• Limited Coding Expertise: Our lack of coding experience presented a significant challenge in translating our vision into a fully functional product. We had to rely on alternative approaches, such as utilizing no-code/low-code development platforms or partnering with experienced developers.
• Conveying Technical Concepts: Effectively communicating our technical vision and requirements to potential developers and collaborators proved to be a challenge.
• Time Constraints: The limited timeframe for the project presented a significant challenge in balancing the development of a comprehensive business plan and a detailed technical roadmap.
