What it does
An alarm clock that forces someone to wake up by threatening to send a cancellable text to someone in your contacts list.
How we built it
React native to create the app with the Twilio API to send SMS messages. Backend done with next js.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of trouble with our back end, especially with trying to get the Twilio API to send messages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was our first time creating an app with React native so we're proud to actually have made an app. It was also our first time utilizing the Twilio API.
What's next for Untitled
- Wanted to use ChatGPT to generate cancellable messages
- Originally tried to use the Twitter API to make it send as a Tweet instead of a message
- Allow for multiple alarms to be toggled on and off
