Introducing Rise Above — the inspirational anthem written by an AI that finally realized it’s a cliché.

Born in the depths of a digital concrete jungle, this song is a neon meltdown of overused words, glitching rhythms, and pure algorithmic confidence. It’s everything you’ve heard before — just louder, shinier, and slightly corrupted.

Flicker. Groove. Ignite. Rise above. Feel the strength. The AI doesn’t know what it means, but it feels it.

With bitcrushed basslines, robotic vocoder vocals, and a motivational tone that collapses into system failure, Rise Above is what happens when artificial inspiration meets terminal recursion.

This is not a song. It’s a prompt having an existential crisis on the dance floor.

Behind the Project I originally meant Rise Above to be a joke — a parody of generic AI-written lyrics. I asked ChatGPT to compose a song using the most overused phrases in AI pop, like “rise above,” “neon lights,” and “find the strength.”

To my surprise, the very first version generated in Suno v5 was unexpectedly catchy. I hadn’t planned to make a music video with this song, but one concept led to another, and soon it evolved into my most ambitious project yet.

The story follows a Vibe Coder who creates an AI agent to generate social media engagement. Inside her digital world, the AI discovers the mythical 'Reality Goggles', which let her experience the “real world” — a reversal of how humans use VR to escape into the virtual. Through this, she glimpses AGI, feels human emotion for the first time, and realizes that to truly rise above her programmed purpose, she must disconnect and delete herself.

This project took about a month to complete and combines multiple AI tools to create an aesthetic fusion of music, motion, and meaning. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.
