Inspiration:

We wanted to create an app that makes it easier to add small, meaningful habits into busy lives. Even one calming activity a day—like taking five minutes to connect with yourself or someone you care about—can bring a big shift in overall well-being.

What it does:

The app helps you choose and schedule simple, mindful activities that encourage balance, reduce stress, and create moments of genuine connection amidst daily chaos.

Challenges we ran into

One of the toughest parts was curating activities that are both easy to do and truly impactful. We wanted every suggestion to feel approachable, yet powerful enough to make a difference in everyday life.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Publishing this as my first independent app on the App Store is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of. Turning an idea into something real that people can use has been a huge accomplishment.

What we learned

Bringing an idea to life takes patience, persistence, and a lot of iteration. Every step—from brainstorming to coding to launching—has been a learning experience that shaped the app into what it is today.

What's next for Ripples

The vision is much bigger:

  • Adding badges and streaks to motivate consistency
  • Expanding the library of fun, calming activities
  • Enabling progress sharing with friends to build supportive communities
