Inspiration 💡

I am an upcoming artist myself and know the struggles that one may face when trying to make a living as an artist. It is my belief that nft ticketing will revolutionize how upcoming artists earn from their art.

What it does 🔥

Ripplerick is an nft ticketing web application that helps users create and verify NFT tickets. Tickets can be in the form of audio, video or image files allowing for a versatile collection of NFTs that captures a large segment of the creative market. alt text

How we built it 🔨

I built it with sugar, spice and everything nice! Although a little Django and Vue.js came a long way! Not to mention XRPL

Challenges we ran into 😣

Would have loved to see how it worked on the mainet, XRP has great docs so my only challenge was I did not know how to create fractional nfts on XRP. Also run into issues intergating XUMM for some reason NFTMint Transaction Type fails although I believe this is because they do not have an XLS20 node to support NFT Transactions yet. Moreover, Pinata (An IPFS Gateway) has rate limits for free accounts so sometimes content does not load and if does, it takes sometime.

What's next for RippleRick 🚀

We are currently onboarding an event that will take part this April called Beneath the Baobabs in Kilifi, Kenya. Although nothing is official yet as there currently isn't a version of the XRPL NFT MAINNET.
