Elevator Pitch: An intelligent ambient AI doorman bridging Ring and Alexa+ to autonomously greet visitors, verify delivery packages, screen unknown solicitors, and deliver contextual ambient audio summaries.

💡 Inspiration

Traditional smart doorbells are passive: they ping your phone with endless motion alerts, leaving homeowners distracted during meetings or away from home. When a delivery driver arrives or a contractor rings, you still have to manually open an app, wait for the video stream to buffer, and talk through a laggy two-way audio feed.

We asked: What if your doorbell had an intelligent, polite, and context-aware concierge built in? With the advent of Alexa+ and Amazon’s connected device ecosystem, we envisioned Ring Concierge AI—an autonomous agent that greets visitors, handles courier drop-offs, screens solicitors, and provides homeowners with concise voice summaries through Alexa+ ambient devices.

⚡ What It Does

Autonomous Visitor Screening: When the Ring doorbell rings or detects motion, the Concierge AI immediately greets the visitor with natural, low-latency conversational voice.
Delivery & Package Management: Detects delivery couriers, instructs them where to safely leave packages (e.g., "Behind the porch pillar"), and records delivery proof.
Contextual Alexa+ Ambient Briefings: Instead of jarring alarm chimes, Alexa+ whispers contextual audio updates throughout the home: "A FedEx courier just dropped off a parcel at the side porch."
Security & Solicitor Triage: Politely deflects unsolicited sales calls and flags suspicious activity directly to the homeowner’s emergency contacts.
Cross-Device Ecosystem: Built to expand across Amazon devices—providing live camera video overlays on Fire TV and ambient notifications.
