Inspiration

Varying state road rules allow for drivers in some states (ex: Florida) to turn right on a red light, while other states do not allow it.

What it does

By accessing a database with all traffic laws for North America and Europe, the app is able to compare the traffic laws between multiple locations and tells the user about the laws that are similar, and those that are different.

How I built it

Mobile App Builder, Buildfire

Challenges I ran into

No extensive prior knowledge of languages making programming a high end app near impossible at this current level, however, with the app builder Buildfire, I was able to create a functioning model with a large surplus of highway safety laws

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

First ever build/design/app creation

What I learned?

The initial stages of app production, design, UI, basic beginner programming terms

What's next for Right on Red?

An entire database of not only United States Highway Safety Laws, but also plans for European expansion given relative distance between countries. Also, I plan to make the information (hyperlinks) more streamlined, allowing the user to effortlessly switch back and forth in the app.
