Inspiration

I wanted to build a practical platform combining my love for bikes with IT skills, solving the problem of scattered accessory shopping.

What it does

RideHub is a React-based platform where users log in via an Excel authentication system, browse curated accessories, and purchase through affiliate links.

How we built it

Frontend: React.js with state management for UI flow. Authentication: Excel sheet integration for user data validation and session handling. Affiliate Integration: API/URL linking for product redirection. UI/UX: Responsive design with Bootstrap for clean navigation.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing Excel-based authentication securely. For contacting us i planned to have a chatbot but wasn't successful so I redirected that "Need Help?" buttonwith a g-form to get the queries of any customer. Managing state across login, product browsing, and purchase redirection. Designing a UI that balances simplicity with functionality.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Created a working prototype integrating login + affiliate flow. Built my first authentication system using Excel as a database. Delivered a responsive React interface under hackathon time limits.

What we learned

Handling authentication and state management in React. Using Excel as a lightweight backend for prototyping. Improving user journeys with responsive design principles.

What's next for RideHub: Bike Accessories Portal with Excel-Based Login

Migrating Excel login to a database (Firebase/MySQL). Adding personalization via recommendation algorithms. Developing a mobile app version for wider reach.
