Ride The Bus

Inspiration

The Reddit Hackathon inspired me to bring a classic party game to the platform. "Ride the Bus" is a fan-favorite card game, and adapting it into a Reddit app sounded like a fun challenge and a unique opportunity to create something engaging for users.

How we built it

The game was built using Devvit for the Reddit app integration and a web view for the interactive card interface. I implemented card logic, game rules, and animations while ensuring compatibility with Reddit's ecosystem.

What we learned

I learned how to design interactive card games within Reddit's Devvit framework. Handling state changes and game logic for a card-based experience in a web view taught me about balancing user interaction with smooth animations.
