Inspiration

Brian thought of an app idea in the shower and the 'Cuse Hacks competition gave us the opportunity to experiment with development tools that were new to us.

What it does

RiBN organizes and compiles collections of various media input by the user.

How we built it

We collaborated as a team using Swift via the Xcode IDE.

Challenges we ran into

None of the team members had any prior experience with app development (including Swift). We used a lot of our time learning to use Xcode's GUI construction tools and the Swift language.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the amount we learned in the timeframe that we applied to a working product, usable on team's devices. Also, we worked successfully and efficiently as a team

What we learned

We learned the basics of Swift and GUI building through Xcode.

What's next for RiBN

We hope to build a network that will allow users to suggest media to each other, as originally planned, but we didn't have enough time.
