Rhythm Rush

Rhythm Rush is a work-in-progress rhythm game where the player uses the keys "ASDF" to match the notes rushing at them. The timing of the key presses determines how many points the player earns.

Inspiration

Rhythm rush was inspired by other rhythm games like OSU! and guitar hero.

What it does

Players are rushed with notes that they must play on time in order to make a melody using the "ASDF" keys.

How we built it

We built this using pygame and python.

Challenges we ran into

As we are all relatively new to pygame, we ran into many challenges as we did not have the knowledge to fully utilize pygame.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Some accomplishments that we're proud of are the smooth moving animations and the colors of the keys changing when pressed.

What we learned

We learned how to use pygame as none of us had any experience with it before.

What's next for Rhythm Rush

As Rhythm Rush is still a work-in-progress, we are working to add more songs and clean up the UI.
