Inspiration

  • Call of Duty: we basically cloned it.
  • Sekiro & Expedition: 33 for rhythmic parrying mechanics.
  • Omori aesthetics.

What it does

  • The player has a gun and a energy barrier.
  • Using the barrier consumes stamina. Stamina regenerates slowly over time.
  • When activated, the barrier destroys projectiles in range.

  • Firing her gun has a cooldown.

  • There is a grace period where if you fire in the last 20% of the cooldown, you can fire early and get a small stamina boost.

  • Enemies have a predictable rhythm to their shots, count the beat!

How we built it

  • Using Unity.

What's next for Rhythm Duty

  • Adding more enemy types.
  • Adding more levels.
  • Adding a dodge mechanic.
