The wetlands serves as kidneys of environment,the preservation of them by continuous evaluation of the quality of the ecosystem by iot and restoring by implementing smart cities.

Inspiration

The Pallikaranai wetland which is located in chennai got affected due to rapid urbanization and dumping of garbage, which was once served as a habitat for thousands of rare species is now a dumpyard which inspired us to bring them back.

What it does

Our project tracks each and every parameter of the land and evaluates what to be done to save the ecosystem.

How we built it

The qualitative parameters are continuously evaluated by using IoT and Akero platform.

There were very few data and resources to search for.
