Inspiration
Wanted to change everyone's morning with something new and something fresh.
What it does
Provides colorful RGB lighting to have your denture routine and has a sweet timer that works only if you know some basic C++ on the Arduino IDE. I will improve this and other features upon different patch notes and feedback from you guys.
How we built it
Arduino UNO, breadboard, DC power source , L293D Integrated circuit, LEDs and of course, a electric toothbrush. Arduino UNO is by far the most critical component since it allows the hardware component to interreact with C++ instructions. The L293D IC receives signals from the microprocessor and transmits the relative signal to the toothbrush.
Challenges we ran into
I wanted to have the electric toothbrush motor and the LEDs work in a synergy manner and this was solved by using the handy dandy Arduino UNO which allowed me to turn on the LEDs in a specific way and make sure the toothbrush is running at a set pace or set duration. The help of mentors, professors, and the teacher assists greatly ensure the completion of the project, special thanks to the people that helped.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Very much grateful that it's functional and has a potential market share in the gaming community since RGB is said to be beneficial for dental care.
Disclaimer notice on the dental care.
What we learned
Learned how to use Arduino UNO, learn some basic C++ syntax, and learned "effective" wiring.
What's next for RGB Toothbrush
Hugely motivated by the community and any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
