Inspiration
We were inspired to develop this application to address the challenges faced by our colleagues within the technology segment at PwC in the RFP process. Through extensive research and peer feedback, we learned that creating high-quality and tailored RFP responses is time-consuming and often requires gathering information from various sources.
What it does
The RFP Response Assistant offers a concise overview of the RFP and presents a strategic approach that PwC can adopt to exceed the expectations of potential clients, helping them understand the differentiation capabilities of PwC and how they relate to their needs.
How we built it
To build this project, we leveraged Amazon PartyRock and additive/dynamic prompting, tapping into curated public, restricted and PwC internal knowledge bases.
Challenges we ran into
Due to the widget limit of 50 in PartyRock, we had to strategically choose the essential variables to display in order to best showcase the value of this concept through this prototype. To overcome this challenge, we engaged with senior colleagues experienced in the typical RFP Process to identify and shortlist the key data points required for this GenAI powered automation to succeed.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are incredibly proud of successfully building a prototype on PartyRock for the RFP Response Assistant. The positive feedback and praise we have received from our colleagues as well as from our AWS counterpart has been truly gratifying, as they recognize the immense potential of this asset.
What we learned
One of the key learnings from using the RFP Response Assistant is the importance of leveraging information from various sources. By blending public, restricted and PwC internal knowledge bases, this automation is not only able to better comprehend the client's needs and preferences, but also to highlight PwC's differentiators and decades of experience in tech consulting.
Furthermore, the RFP Response Assistant has highlighted the significance of collaboration and knowledge sharing within PwC. The tool facilitates seamless collaboration by providing a centralized platform where team members can work together on RFP responses. This has fostered a culture of collaboration, enabling us to leverage each other's expertise and insights, resulting in more comprehensive, grounded and well-rounded proposals.
What's next for RFP Response Assistant
Our plan is to leverage Amazon Bedrock to move forward from this PoC. Our goal is for this asset to be instrumental in engaging with our clients and prospects with the highest quality standards.
