RFID Lock System

Inspiration

Curious on learning how the NTU hall RFID lock mechanism works.

What it does

A 9g servo motor opens the door if the correct FOB key is used. Stays locked if the wrong key is used.

How we built it

Using Arduino

Challenges we ran into

Struggled to find a soldering station to solder some circuits together. In general, our team had difficulties in getting used to Arduino for the first time as none of our team members had any Arduino experience..

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Proud that we were able to accomplish our project.

What we learned

Learned to use Arduino, soldering, and how the different devices work.

What's next for RFID Lock System

We plan to make more complex circuits and Arduino projects that can conduct more complex actions.
