Applying for jobs can be overwhelming, and most college students are dreadfully aware of this. Job seekers often possess valuable skills and meaningful experience but may not know how closely their resume aligns with a position, which qualifications employers prioritize, or how to strengthen their application. Rezzi was designed to address these challenges and help students at both UNC-Chapel Hill and beyond move closer to the careers they dream of in a simple, accessible way.

By analyzing resumes, identifying target roles, researching and comparing job requirements, and providing practical feedback, Rezzi helps users understand where they stand and determine the steps they can take next. The built-in chatbot also provides a space for users to ask questions, plan their next moves, and receive guidance tailored to their individual resumes.

Like any ambitious project, Rezzi’s development came with its share of challenges. Working within technological limitations, coordinating a four-person GitHub environment, and integrating the project’s back end with its front end were substantial obstacles. Nevertheless, our commitment to Rezzi’s purpose kept us moving forward. We created Rezzi to support prospective job seekers, and we were determined to see it through to completion for the benefit of the students and users who may come to use it.

We had a blast making Rezzi, and we thank HackNC for giving us the oppurtunity to create something so special!
