Inspiration: The idea for Rezurrect stemmed from the realisation of numerous unfinished personal projects.
Functionality: Rezurrect provides a platform for users to revive unfinished projects. Users create profiles, explore existing projects, or upload their own. They can then "adopt" projects, work on them, and re-upload the updated versions.
Development: Rezurrect was developed in VSCode using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and the Web Audio API. The framework and core ideas were conceived and implemented through an iterative "vibe coding" process.
Challenges: Development involved overcoming various bugs, including issues with the "Adopt" button and improper data storage for login/signup. The most significant challenge, however, was establishing a monetisation strategy, which was ultimately addressed by implementing restricted features and future plans for revenue generation.
Accomplishments: The creator is particularly proud of the revolutionary concept behind Rezurrect.
Lessons Learned: The development process provided an opportunity to learn and implement the Web Audio API.
Future Plans: Rezurrect aims to evolve beyond a mere project into a startup. Future monetization plans include selling projects and an auction system. If successful in a hypothetical win, funds will be allocated towards acquiring a domain, developing an AI bot to assist with project revival, and purchasing a database for managing user profiles and projects.
