ReWiser

Inspiration

ReWise was inspired by our struggles with understanding and memorizing concepts that we were taught in school. Similar to us, many other people have trouble doing the same. We want to create an app that will stop this tiresome struggle so fewer people will have to endure the pain of not being able to know and retain information.

What it does

• Users can create flashcards to help remember subjects
• They can use flashcards
• They can do quizzes

How we built it

With the help of code.org App Lab, we were able to build the code for this. We split the coding parts amongst each other, into four parts. The Flashcards, Trivia, Pop-ups, and Creator Mode. In the end, we combined all of our code.

Challenges we ran into

During the creation of ReWise, we ran into multiple challenges. We had trouble debugging issues, using the database, thinking about the features to put, coding certain parts, and struggling to continue. Despite these challenges, we were still able to make ReWise into what it is now.

Accomplishments

We created an app successfully and within the given time.

What we learned

We learned how to code using blocks, how to fix errors in code, communicate with people more easily, critical thinking skills, and teamwork is the dreamwork!

What's next for ReWise

ReWise is now something people can use in their daily lives, and maybe someday we might continue and add to this project!
