Inspiration

The inspiration for our project stemmed from observing the high consumptive and distracting nature of social media. We recognized the psychological pull that social media has on users, largely driven by the social element and the connection with friends. This realization led us to create a disruptive solution that could break the cycle of social media addiction. Our goal was to develop a productivity app that incentivizes people to reduce their social media usage by offering tangible rewards for their time spent away from these platforms.

What it does

Rewired. tracks social media usage across connected platforms and devices and incentivizes users with real-world experiences such as free museum visits and musical events to disrupt their social media addictions.

How we built it

The project was built using Figma, a powerful design tool that enabled us to create an intuitive and engaging user interface.

Challenges we ran into

When building, we had an issue with formatting elements. We realized that the issues stemmed from the hierarchy (easy fix)!

What we learned

Figma is a great design tool that we definitely use for future projects.
