Inspiration
We kept noticing how many coupons people receive and never use ( first day in the hackathon) . We asked around, ran a survey, and realized the same thing: almost everyone wants to sell their unused coupons, but there is simply no safe way to do it. That felt like an obvious problem nobody solved in Lithuania - so we decided to build it.
What it does
ReVouch lets people safely buy and sell unused coupons. Codes stay blurred until purchase, money is held in escrow, and both sides are protected. It’s simple, fast, and finally gives value back to people instead of letting coupons expire.
How we built it
We designed and built the MVP using AI-assisted tools, focusing on clarity and user safety. We started with the core flows: uploading a coupon, automatic blurring, secure payment, and releasing the real code once everything checks out.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was trust. Digital goods are easy to fake or steal. We had to think about how to prevent scams on both sides without requiring Smart-ID or heavy verification.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We turned a real-world problem into a working MVP in just a few days. We created a system that actually feels safe, simple, and friendly — something that doesn’t exist in our market today.
What we learned
We learned how important trust is in digital marketplaces, how surprising the demand for this type of solution is, and how much can be built quickly with a clear problem in mind. We also learned to design faster and think more like real product builders.
What's next for ReVouch
We want to polish the MVP, verify demand with real users, and add direct API integrations with major vendors so coupon validation becomes instant. Also we are in talks with ,,Gera Dovana'' about collaboration. The long-term goal is to grow from Lithuania to other European countries — and eventually become the go-to platform for digital coupon resale globally.
