Inspiration
We were driven by TechBuffalo's mission to close the tech skills gap and inspired by the potential of personalized learning to empower individuals in their tech journeys. We saw a need for a platform that could guide users through the overwhelming landscape of online courses and resources, helping them identify their strengths and connect them with the most relevant learning opportunities.
What it does
Our project offers a dynamic quiz that analyzes users' personalities, interests, and existing skills to provide personalized recommendations for tech career paths and learning resources. It acts as a guide, helping users:
-Discover their strengths: Uncover hidden talents and understand how their personality aligns with different tech roles. -Explore career options: Identify potential career paths that match their interests and abilities. -Find relevant courses: Receive personalized recommendations for online courses, bootcamps, and other learning resources. -Set achievable goals: Define clear learning objectives and track their progress.
How we built it
We combined our knowledge of personality assessments, career aptitude tests, and labor market data to create a comprehensive quiz and recommendation engine. We leveraged technology to:
