Inspiration
We got inspired from being high students and observing different problems that teenagers face!
What it does
Our website is a mental health platform dedicated to teenagers. Our website has many features such as Chat, Quiz, Games to help teenagers heal, inspire and revive.
How we built it
First all of us presented our ideas and we were able to decide the final one, surprisingly fast. Then, we started working on the project by dividing the work load between all the members. At the end, we combined our work to one and then made the final touches. We built the home page using HTML, Javascript, CSS. We used Kommunicate to build the chat bot, used unity to build the game and also used Figma to design the picture on our main page.
Challenges we ran into
As all of us were in different time zones, we had trouble communicating but we overcame that challenge successfully. Also, we experienced different errors in between but by some testing and experimenting, we fixed it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we were able to finish this project in time inspite of all the difficulties we faced during this time. As most of us were beginners, we are happy that we could complete this amazing project. We are proud of becoming a great team and helping each other out in all problems that we encountered.
What we learned
We learned that mental health is a very important aspect of everyone's lives, especially during these times. And that, we should we try our best to bring positive changes to the world. Lastly, we learned that patience & hard work can gift us a very functionable website! We also learned leadership skills and different coding aspects.
What's next for Revive Meditation Website
We will add a few breathing exercises and make the website even more interactive by introducing a qualified therapist's advices. We are also planning to add more features like writing tools or drawing tools to relieve the problems. We also plan to make a chat feature where teenagers can talk through their problems with other members in the community.
