Inspiration
I'm very passionate about cybersecurity, and I want to make sure any user's data is safe.
What it does
This program authenticates the user's access to the Digital Locker. It does this with a multi-factored authentication system that prompts the user with a PIN, and then they can provide one of three forms of verification: 1.Text or call on a trusted or personal phone that has been verified on the page beforehand 2.Plug in a USB "token" that provides verification, requested by users with no trusted phone 3.Sign in from home, or a location set as trusted
How I built it
It's the most reasonable solution after looking at many possible options, in my opinion. This will allow the user to access their files at home without a hiccup, and keep them secure with possible otherwise access
Challenges I ran into
Some of the logic threw me for a loop. I had to go back and change my powerpoint a couple times because I didn't have my statements quite right. Other than that it's awesome!
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of my powerpoint, and I'm proud of my diagrams. But more than these things I'm proud of the fact that I'm here now putting everything together.
What I learned
I learned more about multifactor authentication and what it can be applied to. I didn't know so much about it before. Now I know a little more.
