The issue of time per test and on top of that the cost and unavailability of the test kits in many countries are a major issue. What we need is a simple, fast and effective solution.

What it does

Basically ReVIS is an optical sensor which scans for the scattered light from the virus and then utilized this info to identify the virus in real-time. We have already developed the technology for detecting bacteria in real-time using the same principle.

How I built it

Well building such sensor is a not really complicated, all it needs it some off the shelf components and one can put them together to develop a real-time sensor.
