Inspiration
Small businesses generate sales data every day, but many owners don't have the time, technical expertise, or budget to analyze it properly.
A spreadsheet can tell you how much money you made. It rarely tells you why revenue dropped, which products need attention, or what action to take next.
We wanted to make business analytics accessible to anyone, not just companies with dedicated data analysts.
What it does
Revenue Radar is an AI-powered sales intelligence assistant that transforms raw sales data into actionable business insights.
Users upload their sales data as a CSV file and receive:
- Revenue monitoring: Track sales trends and compare performance across different periods.
- Anomaly detection: Identify unexpected revenue drops, spikes, and unusual sales patterns.
- Product intelligence: Discover underperforming products and identify potential growth opportunities.
- AI-powered insights: Translate analytical findings into clear, understandable explanations.
- Action recommendations: Prioritize practical steps that could help improve business performance.
Instead of forcing users to explore dozens of dashboards, Revenue Radar focuses on answering three questions:
- What changed?
- Why might it have happened?
- What should I do next?
How it works
Revenue Radar is designed around a simple analytics pipeline:
- Upload: Import a sales dataset.
- Process: Clean and aggregate transactions into business metrics.
- Detect: Identify unusual trends using statistical analysis.
- Explain: Use AI to summarize findings in natural language.
- Recommend: Generate prioritized business recommendations based on the detected patterns.
The goal is to combine reliable numerical analysis with the accessibility of conversational AI.
Challenges
One of the main technical challenges is distinguishing meaningful business anomalies from normal fluctuations.
Another is making AI recommendations trustworthy. The system should ground its explanations in calculated metrics rather than inventing reasons for revenue changes.
What's next
Future improvements could include integrations with e-commerce platforms, automated alerts, forecasting, and recurring sales reports.
Our long-term vision is simple: give every small business an affordable AI analyst that helps turn data into better decisions.
