Inspiration
The Google dinosaur game, but Aggie themed!
What it does
Play as Reveille as you dodge longhorns, and flying footballs with the goal of reaching the highest score. Play as a mental relaxation and be given a handy tip after each game you play.
How we built it
Using python and the pygame library. Downloading text files, pngs, creating pngs, and sound.
Challenges we ran into
Using git/github for the first time in a team environment. Struggles with photoshop to create background images. Learning the commands for pygame and python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a functional game. Making it look good, cute, and Aggie themed!
What we learned
How to use pygame. How to use git/github. How to efficiently organize a games objects and files while developing it.
What's next for Reveille Run
Adding more features such as different game modes, more obstacles, more powerups etc.
