Driven by a personal encounter with the challenges of locating available EV charging stations on campus, our project was born out of frustration and necessity. Witnessing firsthand the difficulties friends faced, including the inconvenience caused by vehicles occupying charging spots without the need for charging, highlighted a widespread issue. This experience shed light on the urgent need for a solution that not only aids in the discovery of accessible charging locations but also provides real-time information on available spots. Our initiative aims to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles by streamlining the process of finding and accessing EV charging stations. By offering up-to-date details on the number of available spots and their specific locations, we aim to alleviate the stress and uncertainty associated with charging on campus. Our project is not just about facilitating easier charging access; it's about fostering a more organized and efficient charging infrastructure that benefits all electric vehicle users, promoting sustainability and the shift towards cleaner transportation options.
