Inspiration
I got my inspiration to make a game from different projects from past years.
What it does
It is a fun little game.
How we built it
I built my game using pygame and python. All of the sprites were made in Blender, an open source tool.
Challenges we ran into
I had some trouble getting good resources to learn pygame.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I created my own collisions system, since pygame didn't have one, and there weren't a lot of good resources.
What I learned
I learned to use Python and Pygame, as I had never used pygame before. This hackathon was a great learning experience, and I also had a lot of fun.
What's next for Retro-futuristic Platformer
I hope to make more levels and improve the visual design.
