Retro theme, retro game.
What it does
You are a little hero trying to defend their tavern from ghosts. Originally meant to be a genre-bending game but time.
How I built it
Using Unity and C#.
Challenges I ran into
Assets are very difficult to come by for free and without needing any requirements on my side.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finishing the project. I was very unsure of how time was going to work out because I lost about 6 hours to start.
What I learned
A ton of animation logic inside the Unity 3D Engine, some more 2D framework and custom UI pieces.
What's next for Retro Defender
Maybe our little hero can get himself a ranged attack and fight some new monsters in new places. They might also get their hearing back and some sounds can come into the world.
