RetractionRadar was inspired by how easily retracted research can remain in bibliographies. We built a workspace that checks citations against Crossref and OpenAlex, surfaces evidence, and lets agents propose replacements through WebMCP for human approval. We learned that finding related research is easier than proving it supports the same claim. Key challenges included reconciling registry data, preserving citation provenance, and ensuring only approved changes reach the exported bibliography.
