Inspiration
Many people growing up nowadays do not have much knowledge about their financials and how they can build up wealth for their future generations, this inspired us to make a website to help combat the issue.
What it does
The Website provides information on strategies to educate people on how to build up their wealth and other ways to invest.
How we built it
We built the website using react-native-app, javascript, html, css, domain.com, google cloud.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into issues using svg files in the website and issues loading up the files. We also ran into storage problems on google cloud. We had some challenges while deploying the app and redirecting our domain "retirementplanner.tech" to our app hosted in Google Cloud.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a working website, with the information that we were hoping to use.
What we learned
We learned how to develop a website using react and we also gained knowledge on hosting websites using google cloud.
What's next for RetirementPlanner
We are hoping to implement more features such as a newsletter which would give the user financial information every week.
