Inspiration

Only about 37% of Americans know about their retirement plan. Which is quite low even though retirement planning is extremely important for the future.

What it does

This App answers TIAA's challenge to engage the younger generations and people who are not sure about their future plan to understand more about their options and what fit them the most depending on their occupation, income, age, etc.

How I built it

Built with ReactJS, to hopefully be integrated to TIAA's website because they don't have that yet.

Challenges I ran into

A lot of research in how retirement plan works and who is eligible for what. As well as their caveats and benefits.

Accomplishments that I am proud of

Decent lookin UI and simple, understandable description of each individual plan

What I learned

I learned more about making web app responsive, as well as about retirement plan

What's next for Retirement Planner Match

Hopefully be considered by professionals at TIAA and make necessary changes if possible. There was not enough time to do accurate research. Then be integrated to their website to improve traffic to their service.
