Inspiration:
We wanted to make playable game in two days and continue to work on game that we create to make it more enjoyable in future. We planned to make stealth game, however to make gameplay more fun we decided to make it a infinity-runner-ish game.
What it does:
Soul of all the people in a office is taken away by someone, and you have power to resurrect. The player can move in a circular path, you can change direction by taping on the screen. You can resurrect them if you rotate around them. However, some people whom you resurrect may be zombies. Also, you cannot touch anyone or anything, if you do so, you will loose power to resurrect and the game will be over. The MISSION of the game is to resurrect as many people as you can.
How we built it:
We divided work some members were doing programming, while others were looking at graphics, sounds (we created sound for the game by ourself) and game design.
Challenges we ran into:
The major problem between us was most of us were non-native english speakers. So, we sometimes could not describe our ideas properly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We made a game, simple but fun.
What we learned:
Plan ahead, it will be good for game. Also, things always don't go according to plan.
What's next for ResurGo!:
Better graphics, monetization, and feedback from users.
